Your Questions, Answered

  • Murder mystery games are like stepping into a story where you become the detective! In Fatal Encounters, you’re not just watching; you’re actively involved in solving the crime. You’ll connect clues, question suspects, develop theories and piece together the story.

  • For me, the main thing that sets a murder mystery apart from an escape room is the story!

Escape rooms usually have a theme with a bit of a story that ties everything together. You focus on solving puzzles like cracking codes and solving riddles, all while keeping the theme in mind. As you work through the puzzles, you gather numbers to unlock the door and escape the room.

Murder mysteries, on the other hand, are all about the story. They challenge you to piece together the details of a case and find the evidence that connects the suspects to the murder.

If you enjoy getting lost in a story and using your detective skills to piece together clues, then a murder mystery is the perfect game for you!

  • No prior experience in crime investigation or murder mystery games is necessary! The game is crafted to be engaging enough to keep you hooked, without becoming too difficult and causing the story to lose momentum.

Each case offers both a standard and a challenging difficulty level, so players can increase the difficulty as they become more familiar with the game.

Plus, the game is super fun! and intuitive to learn. Once you know what your doing with one case, you know what your doing with all of them.

  • Every case comes with a C.O. Dossier, which is your trusty guide throughout the whole thing. It’ll set out the goals you need to achieve at each stage, giving you a clear path to follow.

If you ever find yourself stuck, the C.O. Dossier will offer some helpful questions to help you keep things moving. If that still doesn’t quite cut it, there are hints and an assist available to help you keep going.
